Tuna And Water Diet – The Result
I have now completed the 3 day tuna and water diet and I must say it went OK, sure I did get bored of eating tuna and drinking water. But what’s good about this diet plan is it’s short, so it’s so easy to stick to because its so short. The first day and half is the hardest, then after that it gets a lot easier. Yesterday was my third and final day and too be honest I’m glad the diet is over because I’m dying to start eating some proper food again. I won’t go mad though, because my metabolism has probably of dropped slightly. So it will take a few days for my body to readjust to normal eating again.
OK it’s now time for the Results of the 3 day water and tuna diet. I started the diet plan weighing in at 202.8 pounds with a body fat percentage of 23.3%. Having just stepped onto my body fat scales I am now weighing in at an unbelievable 196.6 pounds with a body fat percentage of 23.3%. That means in the space of three days I have been able to lose a whopping 6.2 pounds in body weight.

So for the people who are reading this blog post and are thinking about starting the diet plan, the tuna and water diet plan works, stick to the diet and I’m certain you will lose lots of weight. You will probably lose much more than me even. Because you have got to remember the day before I started the tuna fish diet I had my weekly weigh in and I was weighing in at 204.8 pounds. So in the space of 4 days I’ve managed to lose 8.2 pounds. Which is fantastic, it’s now back to normal eating and losing weight slowly. I am still a firm believer that rapid weight loss diets are not good for you. But because this diet plan is so short you can quickly return to a more normal and healthy way of eating. Most rapid weight loss diets you will need to do for at least a few weeks, even months. And weeks of dieting like that is just not good for your health and well being.
I’m glad I’ve lost the weight that I have put on over recent weeks, but I’m even more glad that I can start enjoying my food again. Tuna on its own with water is not nice, but it had to be done. If you are looking to lose a few unwanted pounds quickly I would definitely recommend the 3 day tuna fish and water diet plan. Make sure you do the diet for no longer than three days and at the end of it you should see good weight loss results. Remember to eat in moderation once you return to normal eating otherwise all your hard work will of been for nothing.
Good Luck With The Diet Everyone!
Tuna And Water Diet – Day 3
I woke up this morning with a bit of a dry mouth, but that was soon fixed by drinking a large glass of water. I’ve completed two full days on the tuna and water diet now and I must say it’s been a lot easier than I thought it would be. I was expecting to be feeling tired all the time and have a banging headache. But I haven’t, yesterday morning I did have a slight headache. But it cleared up after lunchtime. From lunchtime onwards I was feeling great and I even managed to fit in an intense weight training session on my biceps and triceps.
As expected though, I was feeling a little bit weaker and I tired much quicker than I usually do. That is all down to me being on a low calorie diet though. The only hard part of the tuna and water diet for me so far, is eating the tuna. 6 tins of tuna with nothing mixed is getting harder and harder to consume. I’m finding its taking me around 10 minutes to consume each tin. Which is a lot of time, when you are having to eat the stuff every 2.5 hours.
Overall though I really impressed with the tuna and water diet plan so far and I’m 100% certain that I’ve already lost a few unwanted pounds. Losing weight is all well and good, but I’m hoping that the weight I lose on this diet is mostly fat and I can finally start seeing a reduction in my body fat percentage.
I will probably do this diet plan again once I return from Las Vegas, but the next time I do it I may swap the tins of tuna for chicken. Chicken is a good source of lean protein so I can’t see why a chicken and water diet plan would not give you the same results that you get on the tuna diet plan. At the end of the diet I will of consumed 18 tins of tuna and it’s highly likely that I will ever want to see another tin for a very long time.
I’m just about to crack open my first tin of tuna for day 3, then I’ve only got 5 tins to go and then I have completed the 3 day tuna and water diet. I will be weighing in tomorrow, so hopefully when I step onto the body fat scales in the morning I will see a good weight loss, but more importantly a good body fat percentage loss.
Tuna Fish And Water Diet – Day 2
Yesterday I completed my first day on the tuna fish and water diet plan, and it didn’t go too bad. I stuck to the diet plan 100% meaning all I had to eat and drink was water and tuna fish. I did feel a little bit tired during the day, but this could be down to the summer heat, warm weather always makes me feel tired. I did have a little bit of an headache towards the end of the day, but nothing too bad. I am struggling to eat the tuna straight from the tin though, because after my third tin it wasn’t tasting too good and it was like eating rubber, the tuna fish just wouldn’t go down. I’m finding myself taking a big mouthful of tuna then taking a big swig of water to send it into my stomach a little easier.
So far so good though on the tuna fish and water diet and I’m not messing I can already feel like I’ve lost a pound or two. This diet plan is short and only three day long, and if it allows me to shift 5 pounds during this time I will be a very happy man. Over the last few weeks my weight has been fluctuating, so hopefully the 5 pounds that I lose will be fat and water weight. I desperately don’t want to be losing lean muscle mass, because this will not be good in reducing my body fat percentage.
This weight loss blog focuses on my body fat, so losing fat is my number one priority at the moment. Losing weight for me is so easy, all I need to do is drop my calories and I have always lost weight. The same can not be said about losing fat, I’m finding this a little bit more difficult because there’s much more to it than just reducing your daily calorie intake. You need to be eating all the right foods.
I have never done the 3 day tuna fish and water diet, but it does seem to be doing it’s job so far. It’s not a diet that you can do over the long term. But if you have got lots of weight to lose, I suppose you could go on the diet plan for 1 to 2 times every month. If you are like me and you like your food, this diet plan is boring and eating tuna on it’s own with water is awful. I can’t wait till the diet is over so I can go back to eating food which tastes a little bit better.
