Weekly Weigh In August 28th 2009
I’ve had another good week exercise and diet wise. after losing a mammoth 5 pounds at last weeks weekly weigh in I’ve decided to increase my food intake slightly. Because my main aim is to lose fat and only fat whilst I’m cutting weight. I’m expecting another weight loss this week, but I’m not expecting to lose another 5 pounds. Even if I don’t lose any weight and my body fat percentage drops I’ll be a very happy man. I’ve ate loads and loads of protein this week, which I think is helping me to hold on to the muscle that I’m carrying on my body.
Having just stepped on to the bodyfat scales I’m pleased to tell you that I’ve lost 0.4 pounds, but more importantly dropped my body fat percentage by another 1.3%. I’m back in the fat loss zone big time and I’m expecting to be below 20% body fat before the end of next month. I’m going to set myself a goal of being 20% at the end of September, 15% at the end of October then I’ve got November and December to finally get down to 10% bodyfat which is my ultimate goal.

I may of left it a little bit late now to be 10% body fat at 200 pounds, because that will involve lots of cutting weight and bulking up phases to achieve. At the moment I will probably be spending the next three months cutting weight and lowering my body fat percentage. I’m looking to cut weight till I reach 15% BF then its highly likely that I will need a bulking phase because I do not want my body weight to drop below 185 pounds. At 6 foot 2 inches tall 185 pounds just wouldn’t look right on me.
In an ideal world I will be able to keep losing fat and maintaining by body weight. Hopefully with my new and improved diet and exercise program I will be able to do this. One of the secrets in my new diet plan is allowing myself to eat that piece of cake and chocolate bar. Losing weight and fat is all in the numbers. If you stay below your recommended daily calorie allowance 99% of us will lose weight it’s as simple as that.
Its a bank holiday weekend and I’m off to North Wales on a camping weekend later today. So my diet and exercise plan will stray slightly. But when I return on Monday I will be straight back at it and get back in the fat loss zone. We will all stray a little from our diet and exercise plans, the secret to success is to get straight back at it as soon as you can. It’s so easy to say to yourself on a Tuesday or Wednesday I’ll start dieting or exercising after the weekend. This is now I use to think, and this way of thinking will never get you into the shape that you are looking for.

I’m back in the fat loss zone folks, this week I have been sticking to my diet plan and I’ve completed 4 hard workouts in the gym. I know that I have definitely lost a few pounds this week because I can see that I have by just looking in the mirror. I have changed the way I workout and diet slightly, and these changes are hopefully going to allow me to lose this unwanted body fat from my body once and for all.
Okay having just stepped into the body fat scales I am pleased to tell you that I’ve lost a whopping 5 pounds in body weight and dropped my body fat percentage by 1.5 percent which I’m absolutely over the moon about. I can’t believe I ever let myself get out of the fat loss zone, but one things for certain I’m 100% back in the zone now. I’ve got a new lease of life and I’m ready to give this fat loss journey of mine a serious go again because I’m not happy carrying this fat and I want shut of it. If you take a look at the countdown timer at the bottom of the page you will notice that I’ve only got 131 more days to reach my target of 10% body fat. It’s going to be touch and go now whether I make it or not, but one things for sure I’m going to try my best from now on to make it.

Starting this weight loss blog has been the best thing I’ve done on my fat loss journey, because my friends and family have been getting on at me over the last few weeks saying that I am not performing and all I’ve been doing is moaning about gaining weight. There telling the truth I haven’t been performing, but I’m confident again that I will keep losing fat week after week till I reach my body fat percentage goal of 10%.
My plan now is to keep cutting weight and making sure that all the weight I lose is fat. I am going to do this by sticking to my new and improved diet and exercise plan. I will need to make sure that I’m eating a good amount of lean protein at every meal. Because I have found in the past by eating less protein I tend to put on weight which is all fat or even worst lose weight from my body which is all muscle. I’m confident though after a lot of trial and error I found the perfect solution to my excessive body fat problem.

This week I’ve been slightly better than I was the previous week. But still I’ve been eating badly and missing workouts. Last week I only did 2 workout sessions, and the ones that I did I missed out quite a few exercises. I’m struggling to fit into my trousers again, which means all the excess weight that I have gained over the last couple of weeks has gone straight to my stomach. I need to shift this weight fast, because it is really getting me down. At the moment I’m feeling really bad about myself and it is all down to me being stupid and allowing myself to gain quite a lot of weight in a short space of time.
OK having just stepped onto the scales at this week’s weekly weigh in I’m now tipping the scales at 207.4 pounds that means I’ve managed to lose 1.6 pounds this week. This is great news because like I’ve just mentioned I’ve been bad this week and I was expecting another gain in weight. This good news has given me the drive to finally move forward again with my fat loss journey. I’m tempted to do a 3 day tuna and water diet this week, which will allow me to quickly shift a few more excess pounds.

I’ve started working my core more now, using my gym ball and I must say my abs were absolutely killing me the following day. Perhaps I over did it a little, but I have found some fantastic ab exercises that I can now incorporate into my workouts. My plan is to give the weight training a miss for 4 weeks and carry on with the gym ball workouts. My core is the part of my body which is suffering the most and I really need to start working on it, if I’m to see my abs appear before the end of 2009.
Hopefully I can now get my head in the right place and start seeing results. I’m so confident I will lose more weight before next weeks weekly weigh in. I’m going to GUARANTEE YOU THAT I WILL LOSE AT LEAST 3 POUNDS THIS WEEK. I will do this by saying goodbye to the takeaway food and my completing at least 3 workouts within the next week.
