Weekly Weigh In September 25th 2009

body fat percentage 22.5%This week as been another very hectic week for me, but I have stuck to my workout program 100% and about 80% to my diet plan. I’m feeling good because I know that I’ve got gained any fat this week, I can just tell by looking at myself in the mirror. It’s strange but because I’ve been doing these weekly weigh in’s since the beginning of the year I’m really getting to know my body I seem to know even if I’ve put a pound on.

OK having just weighed myself, my weight at this weeks weekly weigh in is 197.6 pounds which is exactly the same as last week. But here’s the good news my body fat percentage is down 0.4% to 22.5%. I am now feeling that I can lose this fat once and for all, without getting that skinny guy look. To be honest with you I do not want to drop below 190 pounds, this is what I weighed when I just left school and at the time I thought I looked too skinny. Its strange because back then I was doing everything to gain weight not lose it. Its strange how things change 20 years later.

I’m off to Florida in 5 weeks, so I want to shift as much fat as I can. If I can shift 2 pounds of body fat each week. That will be a 10 pound fat loss, hopefully I can do this without losing too much body weight. My aim a few weeks ago was to be at 15% body fat for Florida, I don’t think I am going to achieve that. But I want to be well under 20%.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been a little lazy on the cardio and not done that much. I think If I starting doing 20 minutes of high intensity interval training each morning. Not only will I burn off lots of calories during the workout, but my metabolism will speed up for many hours following the workout. Which will help my body to burn off more fat. I’m out at the weekend for a meal and drinks, so I plan on making this my last blowout then its just under 5 weeks off stinking to the plan 100% ready to hit the pool and water-parks at Orlando.

body fat percentage 22.9%Another good week diet and exercise wise, but I feel like I’ve ate a bit more food this week than usual. But the extra food,as been high quality food like lots of lean meats and plenty of complex carbohydrates. My gym workouts at the moment are very intense and I’m feeling hungry all the time due to this. But I have been drinking lots and lots of water to combat these hungry pangs.

OK having just stepped onto the scales my weight at this weeks weekly weigh is 197.6 pounds with my body fat percentage at the 22.9% mark. This means that my weight as increased slightly but my body fat percentage as dropped slightly by 0.1%. Over the last few weeks I have started training my abs a lot more and I’m definitely feeling a difference in my mid section already.

My aim now is to keep dropping my body weight till I’m at around 190 pounds, then its a matter of maintaining my body weight whilst dropping body fat. I think I can do this if I put my mind to it. Life at the moment is very busy, so I’ll keep trying to update the blog each week with my weekly weigh In’s. I think all weight loss bloggers, should show their readers there progress on the blog, or whats the point off running one.

Running a blog does take a bit of work, but its well worth it because you feel like you need to keeping moving forward with your fat loss, because you don’t want the world to see you as a failure. This week, I plan on training hard and eating slightly less than I did last week, I’m looking to drop a few pounds in body weight and see a big drop into my body fat percentage. Would like to drop around 1% body fat this week, I know I can do it if I put my mind to it.

body fat percentage 23%Another good week for me diet and exercise wise. I did have a blow out on Saturday though that did set me back a day or two. But to achieve long term fat loss success you need to let your hair and enjoy the finer things in life once in a while. Saturday was a bad day, but the very next day I got straight back at it and even managed half an hour on my exercise bike later on in the day once my hangover had cleared up.

OK its now time I stepped on to my body fat scales to give you this week’s results at the weekly weigh in. I’m expecting another good week, having just stepped on I’ve manged to lose a further 1.8 pounds in body weight. Which I’m over the moon about, 2 to 3 pounds is the ideal weight that I want to lose each week. I’m now at my lowest weight of the year. The scales are telling me my body fat percentage has gone up by 0.2% which is pretty normal. Because the accuracy of the readings do vary by a few percent up and down. At next weeks reading they should drop by a bigger percentage to compensate this, that’s if I lose more fat next week.

Sorry I’m going to change that to, I WILL LOSE MORE FAT NEXT WEEK. I’m 100% certain that I’m going to keep losing fat week after week till I reach my target body fat percentage of 10%. I’m going to Florida 7 weeks today, so I want to be hitting the pool in the best shape possible. Plus by getting into really good shape and working hard to achieve it. Should give me added motivation to stay away from the eat as much as you can buffets.

These type of buffets are lethal for me, because I just keep going back for more food time after time. I live in the UK, and they are becoming very popular over here now. In the town were I live, we now have an eat as much as you can, Indian, Chinese and Pizza restaurants.  I went to Florida last year for 2 weeks and put on over 10 pounds. That is something that I don’t want to be doing again this year.
