My body fat chart just isn’t moving and it’s really beginning to get me down big time. When I first started this weight loss blog just a few short months ago I was on fire with my weight loss and fat loss. I was so motivated and I was doing tons and tons of cardio exercise mainly due to the 50,000 calories challenge I set for myself. Boy was that a hard challenge but it helped me to lose weight and lower my body fat percentage. I haven’t really been that strict with my diet plan all year, but even so I’m still 30 pounds lighter than I was at the start of 2009, which I am very pleased about.
On the 10th April my body fat percentage was 22.1% seven weeks later it still stands at 22.1% the only difference is, I now weight slightly heavier which is good news because it now means that I am carrying more lean muscle mass than I did seven weeks ago. But no movement in my body fat chart sucks big time. And the only person this is down to is YOURS TRULY. I’ve let myself down my overeating and not being able to say no to my cravings. The problem with me is once I started eating delicious tasting junk food I find it very hard to stop. I know that lots of you can relate to what I’m telling you here.
One of the biggest problems is me being lazy and not preparing my meals the night before. By not doing so I’ve been eating at the works canteen, which is jam packed with delicious but calorie laden food. Another thing that I’ve been doing is not keeping well stocked up with the foods that are contained in my diet plan. This is something that I must do if I’m to move forward on my body fat loss journey and finally see some downward movement on my body fat chart week after week.
Another major problem is my social life over the last few weeks, there’s been weddings to attend, stag parties to attend, christenings to attend and so on and so. This involves drinking and eating food from buffets. Which after a few drinks is hard not to do, I recently went to my friends wedding and I went back to the buffet three times because the food was that good. I think once I can get below the 20% body fat mark on my body fat chart I can start moving forward again at a faster rate. Losing fat is definitely a lot harder than just losing weight.
