3 Day Tuna And Water Diet – The Start Day 1
I’m a firm believer that rapid weight loss is not good for you over the long term. But over the last few weeks my weight has slowly been rising. I’m going on holiday to Vegas in just over a week so I’m desperate to quickly shift the excess pounds I have gained over the last few weeks. So over the next three days I am going to go on the 3 Day Tuna and Water diet. I am going to document my progress on this weight loss blog and show you my starting weight and finishing weight whilst on the diet plan.
Once the 3 day tuna and water diet is over I am slowly going to return to my normal diet. Because it’s highly likely that my metabolism may of dropped slightly due to the decrease in calories over the 3 days. Hopefully because this diet plan is so short, my body will not have time to go into survival mode which is what usually happens when you go on low calorie diets.
OK having just stepped onto the body fat scales you can see from the picture below that I’m starting the 3 day tuna fish and water diet plan weighing in at 202.8 pounds with a body fat percentage of 23.2%. My next weigh in will be in three days when the diet is complete, showing you the results I have obtained from this high protein, low calorie diet plan.

I will be consuming 1 to 1.5 grams of protein for every pound I weigh. I will also be taking one multivitamin tablet at 7 am and at 5 pm. I will also be taking two teaspoons of Benefiber at 11.30am and at 7pm with my bedtime meal to ensure that I am getting fiber into my diet.
Here’s a timetable showing you my 3 day tuna and water diet plan.

11.30 one tin of tuna and 2 teaspoons of Benefiber (3.5 grams)

Rapid Weight Loss Diets
When it comes to rapid weight loss diets there are so many different ones to choose from but are they safe. Well too be perfectly honest with you I would stay well clear from them. Anything that promotes rapid weight loss isn’t good in my opinion. Why you may be asking, well rapid weight loss is not good for many reasons. The main reasons being one its slows down your metabolism, two your general health and well being will suffer as a result, three you will have less energy and it will show in your skin and hair. And last but not least rapid weight loss 9 times out of 10 is only temporary. Because once you return to your normal eating again the weight will return almost overnight.
Rapid weight loss diets are all the range at the moment, with lots and lots of big celebrities endorsing them. But do you really think that these celebs are on these fad diet plans or is it because they are getting paid big bucks to promote them. I personally think it’s the latter. Millions of people all over the world are trying to lose weight and they want to lose it fast. So its very big business. But rapid weight loss is not the answer to your questions IS IT.
Most of you know what we need to do to lose weight, but we are too lazy to get off our arses and start doing it. Me being one of them, I’ve got the knowledge but I just don’t put this knowledge to its best use. One thing that’s for sure though, is I would never start a rapid weight loss diet. I value my health and fast metabolism too much. Its took me months and months to rebuild my metabolism. And I will not let it suffer by going on these what should be called crash diet plans.
The best weight loss diet is one which is calorie controlled and contains all the correct nutrients and vitamins which how bodies need to function at their best. A diet rich in complex carbs, protein and healthy fats is one such diet plan. But the most important point is to reduce it by an amount which will not allow for rapid weight loss. This is one thing that you will not want to be doing if you are to have long term successful fat loss.
Drinking Water To Lose Weight But How Much
Almost everyone knows that drinking water to lose weight can dramatically help with our weight loss goals. But exactly how much water should you drink to lose weight, well if you search around the Internet the experts suggest around eight 8 ounce glasses per day. If you are working hard to lose fat like I am this just isn’t enough. One thing that you should never do is drink a large amount of water in one go, this is very dangerous so always make sure that you drink your water evenly spaced out throughout the day.
Drinking water as so many different health benefits it improves your skin and hair and really helps at suppressing your appetite. If you are looking to lose weight and want to look your best you have to make sure that you are always well hydrated. If you are dehydrated even slightly your performance can be dramatically reduced. I use to live off fizzy diet drinks, but not only was this costing me quite a lot of money to maintain. It was not doing my health and fat loss any good at all. I now make sure that I am always well re hydrated and carry a large bottle of water with me everywhere I go.
For people who are not use to drinking lots of water. You will probably notice that once you start that your appetite is reduced and your craving for junk food is almost gone, which leads to weight loss. Drinking water to lose weight really helps with your dieting and truly is a win win situation. I like to drink my water ice cold, but for lots of people they don’t like this because quite simply it takes much longer to drink. Lots of people lead hectic lives so a quick drink is usually the answer for them.
Lots of people think drinking water is boring and like to drink something with a bit more taste, if you fall into this category why not add a slice of orange or lime to your glass of water. You will be surprised at how good it tastes. When you first start drinking water to lose weight, you will probably be going to toilet much more than you use it. After a bit this will become less frequent as your body readjusts and flushes out all the build up toxins within your body.
