I don’t know how many times I’ve started and stopped my weekly weigh in’s, but I know that I need to publish a weekly weigh in on the blog every week. This is because it is a fantastic motivation for me, to help keep me doing my workouts and eat an healthy diet.
Over the past few months I have been absolutely terrible with my diet plan. I have ate junk food almost every night and not only as it cost me on the body fat scales. But it as also cost me lots of money on eating out and buying takeaway food each night. Last week I returned home from a two week holiday in Orlando Florida. Everyday I would start my day with a breakfast buffet from Golden Corral. This would consist of a huge fry up, finished off with a couple slices of carrot cake and cookies. For lunch I would usually grab myself a burger, fries and crisps.
Eating out on the night was probably the worst meal of the day calorie wise. This is because almost every night we ate at buffet restaurants were you could eat as much food as you want to. Because I was on holiday, I totally disregarded what all the high calorie junk food would do to my body and went for it.
I have been back one week now and this week hasn’t been much better, with me eating a takeaway meal every night.Today is Friday and I have decided enough is enough and that I need to get back into my diet and exercise program.
So I’m starting over once again, and today is going to be the first weekly weigh in of my fat loss plan. I’m expecting to see high numbers on the scales not just in body weight, but in body fat percentage as well. OK, enough of the small talk at week one of my fat loss plan I am weighing in at 213.6 lbs or 15 stone 3.6 lbs. This is nearly a 30lb increase in body weight, from my lowest body weight of just 188 pounds or 13 stone 6 pounds just a few short months ago.
213.6 pounds or 15 stone 3.6 pounds
This week I have set myself a goal of losing a few pounds in body weight, with most of this body weight being body fat. Because this is the first week of my fat loss plan, I know that I am going to see impressive numbers in terms of body weight lost at next weeks weigh in. This is because my body is currently carrying lots of excess water. Which will of been caused by the rapid weight gain over the last couple of weeks. By drinking more water, eating healthier and doing exercise I will lose most of this excess water weight this week.
So I will adjust my daily calorie intake each week, to make sure that I only lose 1 to 2 pounds each week. This week my weight loss is going to probably be in the 6 to 10 pounds range. So I hope to see you all back for next weeks weigh in, to see how I got on.

It’s really tough to monitor our diet, given the fact that there’s a lot of temptation inside the refrigerator and the 24/7 convenience store just around the corner. Nonetheless, people who have succeeded in trimming down fat displayed unbelievable self-control, which most of us lack. Good luck with your diet and health plan!
Thanks Vash, it does take unbelievable self control. Something I have most of the time. But sometimes I go off track and just go crazy and eat as much as I can.
