Good Weekend But Bad For Fat Loss

body fat percentage 22.5%This weekend as been fantastic I have really enjoyed myself. But not only am I paying for it with a really bad hangover this morning. But my fat loss progress as seriously been dented. Not once have I thought of this weight loss blog and my body fat loss journey. I have been drinking lots and lots of high calorie premium lager and food wise I have been at my worst all year.

I feel a little bit down about this actually because I’m thinking to myself two days of eating and drinking what I like has probably put me back about three weeks. I actually feel like I’ve put a few pounds on already this week. I’ve got four full days left till my next weekly weigh in, so if I knuckle down eat healthy and train hard I should be able to get back on track.

I have really enjoyed myself this weekend and I think it is good that you allow yourself to have the odd blowout every month or so. You just need to remember that you MUST get straight back to it or you will quickly lose all the hours of hard work that you have put in to lose the weight. Losing fat isn’t easy, forget what the weight loss gurus tell you. The hardest part about it, is keeping the weight off that you lose.

I’m currently on the old school trainingchallenge and I feel that this challenge is really helping me on my progress. It’s the first time that I have trained my abs all year. But already I’m feeling like it is really benefiting me and my mid section is actually starting to feel a lot more toned than it use to.

It’s a bank holiday Monday and traditionally I always take the better half out for a meal. I’m still going out for the meal but I am not having a starter and I’m not going to order a desert. When you think about it people like us who are on diets are boring, we sit there eating our small portions whilst everyone around us fill there faces on delicious tasting high calorie food. But this pleasure is only temporary. The pleasure which is permanent is weight loss that stays off you. And the only way to achieve that is through dieting and exercising on a regular basis.
