my body fatHaving today returned from a fabulous 4 day all inclusive break in Spain. I am really upset with myself because I have today already done what I always do and have gone on the holiday blues munches. What I mean is I’ve been snacking on foods that will seriously harm my body fat reduction. Let’s tell you what I’ve had so far I’ve had a wispa chocolate bar, two cereal bars, 2 yogurts, and quite a few chocolates from my girlfriends dreaded chocolate box.

I’m really upset with myself because I’ve been really good on my holiday and I even managed to fit in two killer weight training session at the hotels gym. Never mind I’m expecting a few ups and downs along the way. So I just have to make sure that I get back on track straight away. If I’m bad one or two days I know that this will only set be back a little. But if I carry it on I will quickly be back to square one before I know it.

But I bet you can all relate to having the holiday blues munches. You return home from a nice sunny and nice destination. Only to be met by rain and more rain. Food is usually the first form of comfort we all grab at. Me being one of the biggest munchers. It’s got to stop and it’s stopped now. I am doing a one hour cardio session now to burn off some of the excess calories that I’ve ate today.

It’s only two days from my next weekly weigh in I’m expecting my first week were I haven’t lost any weight. In fact I feel like I may of put on a few pounds. Hopefully the weight I’ve put on can be some muscle which will help me a lot in lowering my body fat percentage. I’ve only got about 3 pounds to go on my weight loss journey. But I’ve got about 30 pounds of fat still to lose on my fat loss journey. It’s going to be a long and slow journey, one which will take will power and determination that I have never experienced in my life before.

It’s all about learning from my mistakes and today’s holiday blues munches have been the biggest mistake so far in 2009. A year which has already seen be shift 30 pounds. I’m back off holiday now and I’m 100% focused to keep moving forward from this moment on.
