Weekly Weigh In December 4th 2009

By Keith | Weight Loss Blog | Body Fat Percentage On December 4, 2009 Under Weekly Weigh In

body fat percentage 19.6%Another week which has absolutely flown by on my body fat loss journey. This week as been OK, exercise wise I’ve almost completed every gym workout which I’m pleased about. As my regular readers know I workout in a 16ft x 10 ft wooden shed in my back garden. This week as been very hard because its been frosty weather and its been absolutely freezing inside my home gym. I’ve got a small heater in there buts its just not big enough to heat up the gym and because my workouts are short and intense I’ve finished my workout before my gym as had chance to warm up.

Its times like these when I really do consider joining a commercial gym. I would probably join one if they would allow you to join at a month at a time. But the best gyms in my area make you join for 12 months. Which is something I really do not need to do. I’ve been a member of a gym before and the time its takes to drive to and from the gym really eats into your time and motivation. What I like about training at home is you are in and out in well under one hour.

At this weeks weekly weigh in I’ve increased my body weight by 3 pounds and managed to only raise my body fat percentage by o.2% to 19.6%. This is fantastic news because its means that I’m maintaining my body weight and losing fat at the same time. My weight isn’t the issue at the moment its my body fat percentage. Since I’ve started training my core I can definitely see a big difference in my mid section. It feeling much firmer and harder these days. I’ve still got a long way to go but I’m getting there slowly but surely.

Just a few more weeks left in 2009, so hopefully I will be able to shift a few more pounds in body fat and reduce my body fat percentage a little bit more. I’ve got a few parties to attend, which I will probably be over eating and drinking, but if I make sure that I train hard and keep my protein intake high I should still be able to at least maintain my current body fat percentage. The cold weather here in the UK is making it hard though, and I’m the first to tell you that my motivation is dropping slightly. This weight loss blog is keeping me motivated though, because all my friends are monitoring my progress and letting me know when I’m slacking.
