body fat percentage 23.5%Another week over on my body fat loss journey, the weeks are absolutely flying by. At the start of the year when I was weighing in at over 230 pounds. I couldn’t wait to step on to my body fat scales for my weekly weigh in. Fast forward a few months and I am now dreading it every week. Why because I’m not seeing results with my weight loss and the lowering of my body fat percentage. When I started this weight loss blog in march every weigh in was a pleasure because I was seeing fantastic results week after week.

But my body fat chart tells a different story over the past ten weeks. Ups and downs with the ups becoming more frequent. Every week I seem to be telling myself this is the week that I get back on track with my fat loss and every week it just doesn’t seem to happen. My lifestyle is playing a big part in this though because I like to go out for meals and drinks, and when I see the menu I always go for the tastier options which are usually laden in calories. If I’m to succeed I need to reprogram my mind, to say NO to fatty foods.

OK enough pitter patter having just stepped onto my body fat scales I am now weighing in at 202.6 pounds which is a 1.8 pound weight increase for the week. By body fat percentage is virtually the same, which is telling me the weight gain is mostly fat. Something that I don’t want to be doing at this stage on my body fat loss journey. I’m fast reaching the half way point on the journey and I’m disappointed with myself a little bit.

The weather is much better now, so hopefully this will inspire me to lose a bit more fat before the cold weather arrives in the winter. I always seem to lose more during the hot summers months, maybe because I sweat more and my metabolism speeds up naturally. I’ve got just over 2 weeks to go till Vegas and I need to shift as much fat as I can. Otherwise I will go to Vegas and pig out and come back even fatter and further behind on my fat loss journey. Its time for this weight loss blogger to stand up and be counted. The only thing stopping me from succeeding IS ME AND MY POOR WILLPOWER. I just can’t say no to food at the moment and that is setting me back BIG TIME.
