I’ve just stepped onto my body fat scales for this week’s weekly weight in and the results that are staring back at me are a little mixed. I’ve managed to lose 2.2 pounds this week which is fantastic news because if you take a look at my body fat chart my weight was beginning to creep back up. So I’m happy with a 2.2 pound weight loss this week. Considering yet again I haven’t been strict with my diet plan. The bad news today though is according to my scales my body fat percentage has gone up from 22.1% to 23.1%. I’m absolutely gutted by this, because I haven’t seen 23% plus for well over 6 weeks.

So there you have it a week were I have lost weight but gained body fat, not good news at all if I’m to reach my body fat target of 10% before the end of 2009. I still think I can do this though, I just need to work out in my mind now how exactly am I going to achieve it. Starting this weight loss blog though has been a fantastic motivation to keep me moving forward and I’m absolutely amazed at the traffic I’m now receiving. I starting this fat loss blog has a motivation for me and that I enjoy writing about health and fitness. But ever In my wildest dreams did I expect the blog to explode as quick as it is doing.
How that I’m having this explosion of new visitors to the blog, I need to show them that I am not a fraud and that you can lose weight and lower your body fat percentage if you put your mind to it. I started the year motivated and I quickly lost over 30 pounds, once I can get my motivation back to the level it was then, I know I will succeed. But looking at the results on my body fat chart over the last few weeks even months I do really need to step up my game and start shifting fat big time.
I’m still an avid reader of other weight loss blogs, and I’m surprised that the bloggers who were not losing weight and I considered to be frauds just in it for the money are seeing results. One thing I can promise you at next weeks weekly weigh in, I will definitely lose weight again. Which hopefully means that I can lower my body fat percentage. By eating the right foods and training right I’ve got no reason to believe it shouldn’t drop.
